Evidence, not claims: why we verify
Words like “green” and “climate neutral” no longer carry weight on their own. Customers, investors and regulators all ask for evidence.
The years of green packaging and vague promises are over. EU consumer rules are cracking down on generic environmental claims that cannot be backed up.
What does verification check?
An independent verifier examines data and method, not intentions: where the numbers come from, what was left out, and whether the claims hold up.
- Greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories
- ESG and sustainability reports
- Social responsibility claims
We carry out third-party verification in partnership with Verify Agency of Sweden. The result is more than a certificate: the process shows where data collection is weak, so it can be fixed for next year.
