The SDGs as a compass, not a sticker
The colourful SDG icons appear in many annual reports. Few of those reports show what the company actually changed.

The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) give governments, civil society and businesses a shared language. The trouble starts when companies stick the goals onto what they were already doing.

Fewer goals, deeper
Pick two or three goals where your operations truly have an impact, good or bad. Give them measurable commitments, an owner and a deadline, and involve stakeholders across the value chain.
That way the SDGs stop decorating the report and become the compass that shows the way forward.
